lead-acid batteries are best wherever portable standby power is required. They have a very low self-discharge rate and outperform nickel cadmium batteries in applications where battery power is used sporadically over long periods of time. All are environmentally sealed and maintenance free. Fluid level checks and refilling are not required.

Recommended for: Sites with intermittent or sporadic activity – stormwater runoff monitoring, inflow & infiltration (I&I) studies, combined sewer overflow (CSO) monitoring, etc.
