The ASP40 Closed-Loop Digital Potentiometer is an accessory for AC or DC drives. Microcomputer based, digital potentiometers replace conventional 3-wire analog speed potentiometers. Digital potentiometers have the ability to display percent of motor speed, or scalable engineering units. Faceplate gasket kit achieves NEMA 4/4X rating when installed in a similarly rated panel. This closed-loop version is especially useful to set up Master-Follower relationships between two or more motors. Encoder feedback is required – see the Dart PU-MAE or PU-MAR Series encoders.
